This expert panel will discuss what types of properties are being targeted; what the counties and the courts are doing to alleviate the backlog of cases; and what real estate professionals should be doing to help their clients deal with potentially dramatic increases in assessments and taxes. The panel will comment on recent court cases that affect the way real property is assessed and taxed throughout the region, including how the courts are handling leased fee and leasehold interests, touching on the cases being made by owners of big box and net-leased properties.
